Platania Beach is actually a natural extension of the town beach in Sarti, separated only by a rocky cape.
The beach is wide and sandy, both on the shore and in the water, with a gradual depth.
There is a beach bar on the shore with sunbeds and umbrellas that you can get with a purchased drink, while a larger part of the beach is available to visitors with their own equipment.
This beach is very beautiful and uncrowded even during the peak season, making it ideal for those who enjoy peace and quiet, as well as families with children due to the sandy shore.
In addition to the beach bar, this beach also has a tavern in the background with reasonable prices and a pleasant atmosphere.
There is no natural shade on the beach, nor are there toilets, changing rooms, or showers, which you can use only if you go up to the restaurant.
