Glyfada Beach is located on Thassos, about 3km from Limenas, on the way to Skala Prinos and Potos.

Before the turn for the popular La Scala beach, there is a sign for the Glyfada hotel, and this is the road leading to the beach, as the hotel with the same name is located on the beach.

The road is about 50 meters long and quite steep, but it is paved so the beach is easily accessible. Also, there are parking spaces, but if the hotel is full, you probably won’t be able to park there. Our advice is to park on the road extension and walk down to the beach, check if there is parking and ask the reception staff if you can park.

It is a narrow, sandy beach, which is mostly quiet and not crowded during the high season. Sunbeds and umbrellas are reserved for hotel guests, but if they are not all occupied, it is possible to rent them at a price of €10 per set, which includes the toilet, parking and showers.

It is ideal for families with small children because of the fine sand and long shallow water.

As a suggestion - it can be combined with other beaches on the north of the island, as there are no special facilities, but it is certainly a small oasis for those who want peace.
