We vacationed in two studios from September 3, 2018, to September 17, 2018, one facing the sea and the other facing the hills. Firstly, the depicted building is shared by three owners, one of whom rents apartments on the ground floor (Paraga Rooms), another rents apartments on the first floor (these are advertised as Pefkari Beach Studios Albatross), and the third rents apartments on the second and third floors (Pefkari Studios). On the internet, under Pefkari Studios, you can find both one and the other apartments, so we mistakenly reserved Pefkari Albatross Studios, thinking it was about Pefkari Studios. These other apartments are much larger (oriented on both sides - towards the sea and the hills) and more modernly furnished, but we did not pay attention that the photographs on Nika's site are different from those we found elsewhere on the internet. At the entrance to the building, there is no reception or any notice about where and whom to ask when you arrive. Thus, after a little wandering, we ended up on the beach where there is a water sports center "Albatros" and where it turned out that there is a girl who has connections with the apartments. Although it was written on Nika's site that there is a mosquito net and internet access, it turned out that there was neither. The girl contacted the owner who said he didn't know what was written on Nika's site but that they don't have it. The internet they "have" is very weak and practically unusable, and that item should be removed from the apartment's characteristics (contrary to what is written, there are no common areas in the building where one could use it, and it cannot be used on the beach either). We used the internet from the owner of "Paraga Rooms," but it was also very poor quality in the room except in the late evening hours. The lack of internet is considered one of the major drawbacks of these studios. Instead of a mosquito net, we used a curtain that was quite effective. That girl did not tell us who she was or who her owner was or who to contact in case of any problems. It is true that she often stayed at the beach but not always. The day before departure, I tried to find her to tell her that I would be leaving early in the morning and to ask whether I should leave the keys in the door, but she did not know anyone who could tell us that. Quite unprofessional for an owner who deals with renting apartments. The apartment described as "small square footage" becomes cramped when actually used. For example, on one side of the bed, there is a gap of only thirty centimeters to the wall that must be passed. The miniature "kitchen" is located in a closet whose function is unknown because the fridge cannot work in a closed box. Since the door is kept open, it obstructs movement in an otherwise small space. The "work surface" in the kitchen practically does not exist, so any food preparation is a challenge. From metal utensils, there is only one large pot that otherwise sits on the shelf (because there is no room inside). We also placed other items (water, glasses...) there because there is no room for them either. Next to the kitchen is a wardrobe for clothes that is partially occupied by additional bedding and a case, so we kept half of our clothes in the suitcase. Access to the wardrobe is also hindered by the door of the kitchen wardrobe (which should be closed to access it) and a folding chair, making it a problem as well. The door to the bathroom is narrower than standard dimensions, and the passage to the sink is a nightstand that is placed there instead of next to the bed because there is no room. Overall, there is often a smell of sewage. The faucet for the sink is almost unusable due to low pressure (only on the side) the water barely flows, making washing or handwashing not normal. The shower cabin is miniature, and one needs to get used to passing without bumping into the door. The window in the bathroom has no mosquito net, which is a shame. The terrace is quite spacious, beautiful, and usable. Unfortunately, the smell of sewage is occasionally felt even on the side. The side facing the hills is quite noisy even in September as vehicles from the highway and local streets next to the beach can be heard.

The apartment is quite small, but essentially, all apartments in Greece are similar. Rooms that do not overlook the sea face a very busy intersection.

The second half of June. Two adults and a 6-year-old child. Everything is fine; however, it is not recommended for older children, as the studio is relatively small. Hygiene and other aspects are commendable, including towels, bedding, etc.

This year, my husband and I visited during the off-season... for a few days... from May 18 to 22, 2013. I don't know what to say, except that it was wonderful, magical... with no crowds, just the two of us, the sea... and excellent accommodation. It is an understatement to say that the apartment was clean... everyone was open to casual communication... And Ana Nikolić once again confirmed her professionalism and kindness... as much as she could, she helped us, as we had a minor issue with our car... Because of her, you feel as if you are in your own country, in your own home... Thank you, Ana!!! :* I believe we will come back in August... You won't go wrong if you choose this location in Thassos... We were there with our daughter and had such a great time that we are coming back again.

This was my husband's and my third vacation in Thassos, and I can confidently say it was the most beautiful one. We stayed from August 20 to September 4, 2012. This was primarily due to the excellent choice of location and accommodation. In my opinion, the southern part of the island is the best choice, and Pefkari is a perfect little place that provided us with everything we needed for a perfect holiday. It was free of crowds, peaceful, quiet, with excellent paths for my morning walks, and great parking for the car... The waves and the cooing of doves lulled us to sleep and gently woke us up. The sea was clean, warm, and had the best entry as there were no slippery stones. The accommodation was excellent, the view from the terrace was beautiful, especially at dawn when the first rays of sunlight illuminated the sea and surroundings. All praise goes to the hostess Olga for the cleanliness of the rooms, as well as for her attitude towards guests and the quick and efficient resolution of some issues that arose during our 15-day stay, such as clogged drains and shower repairs... Lastly, I will say that this is the only time I have wished not to change anything and to spend my holiday next year in Thassos, in Pefkari, in room number 4 of Pefkari Studios. We spent a week on a family vacation. The space was slightly smaller than expected, and I believe the owners could invest a very small amount to provide guests with a bit more privacy on the terraces. The terraces are inadequately fenced, so if you don’t want the neighbors to overhear, you must whisper. I didn’t like that at all. Everything else, absolutely everything, is at a very high level - the location and cleanliness are top-notch. It would be nice if they could fence those terraces, and we would love to return next year to the same place. I also request a better bed for the third person.

We vacationed from August 26th to September 2nd, 2012. My husband, daughter, and I... The experience was truly satisfying... The hygiene was at an exceptionally high level... I genuinely enjoyed everything, but my husband found the studio a bit small, and our daughter did not have a very good bed... Studio number 2 is ideal for two people... As for everything else, it was excellent... The beach is wonderful, and the sea is unrealistically clean and clear... It is always like this, even when there are waves... The location of the accommodation is excellent... :) Honestly, even a whole month would not have been enough for us to stay... Not to forget, everyone was kind and almost unobtrusive, very attentive...

My wife and I stayed in Pefkari for 12 nights, and everything was perfect except for one thing: we didn’t have Wi-Fi.

From August 9, 2012, to December 19, 2012. My wife and son. The studio is perfect as it has been renovated and is functional, and above all, it maintains an exceptionally high standard of hygiene. All praise goes to the hostess Olga, who is an incredibly hardworking and pleasant young woman, allowing us to enjoy a clean studio.

We spent ten days in July 2011 in Pefkari - accommodation at Pefkari studios, and then another four days at Georga studios. Both places were exactly as described on the website, the price was reasonable, and the hosts were pleasant, kind, and unobtrusive. The main impression from our vacation in Thassos is that this island hospitality is neither forced nor commercial; rather, the residents of Thassos are simply good-natured and well-meaning by nature. Following NikAna's instructions on the site, we visited most of the interesting places on the eastern side of the island after enjoying our morning coffee and swimming in Pefkari. The advantage of accommodation right on the seashore was fully realized, as we set off on day trips refreshed from our morning swims. The sea is clean, and the water temperature allows for prolonged stays without a wetsuit, yet it is cool enough to be refreshing. Perfect. Although we did not spend most of our time in Pefkari, it was sufficient to get to know the restaurants, all of which come highly recommended. The ''Albatros'' Water Sports Center is also worth recommending, where eleven-year-old Sara skied for the first time, and we had a great time on the ''ring'' (the rubber ring towed by a speedboat). There is also table tennis and plenty of other activities to break the ''monotony'' of lounging on the beach and sipping ''Mitosa'', which, by the way, is regularly served with peanuts or similar snacks. Now, at home, we also regularly put peanuts on the table with our beer, having adopted a good habit from Thassos. We have nothing else to add about other things; everything is beautifully and thoroughly detailed on the website. We spent a lot of time at Marble Beach, Metalia, Tripiti (where everyone is a bit tipsy..), and we have many pictures to share with NikAna, who can then share them with others, choosing what she likes. We expected a lot from these excursions based on the information from the site and the ''navigational preparations'' via Google Earth, and we received much more than we anticipated... we will definitely be returning next year.

Since I already wrote a comment last year on your site, I will simply copy-paste the same text: I pondered for a long time which accommodation to choose for my girlfriend and me, and in the end, I booked and stayed with my girlfriend in this villa at the beginning of September. I can say it was even better than I had hoped. One usually fears how much worse it will be than described when choosing an arrangement; this time, we received exactly what we were looking for, and in some aspects, our expectations were even exceeded. We enjoyed complete peace, perfectly clean rooms (which were tidied every day, fresh towels, bed linens...). Thanks to Šuli (the cleaner) for everything; we regret that she finished her job and left two days before us without us even saying goodbye. She probably told me that on my last day in passing, but since I don't understand German very well, and she doesn't speak English, I likely missed it. All double rooms have a sea view, and since there were just the two of us... In the room, we had a double bed, a separate terrace, and a bathroom, a kitchenette with cutlery, plates, pots... then a TV, air conditioning, a safe, and above each pillow, a lamp for possible nighttime reading... perhaps I forgot to mention something. Pefkari is an ideal place for those who seek peace and seclusion from the crowd, with a beach bearing a blue flag within reach, yet close enough to towns for evening outings. It’s a 10-minute leisurely walk from Potos on one side, and on the other side, about half an hour on foot to Limenarija (there's a dirt path, much better than the road). We did pay a bit more than some other offers, but when I hear from friends how they fared for a bit less money... I will definitely vacation at the same place if fate leads me back to Tasos (the problem is that my job conditions mean I won't have the opportunity to take a vacation for several years). Tasos recharged my batteries, and I hope I won't have to wait years for my next vacation.
