Accommodation description
Hotel Hera is an accommodation located close to the city center, the main promenade and the beach and at the same time in a very quiet location. Guests have at their disposal well maintained and tidy accommodation units as well as private parking.
It is located in Skala Potamia, 300m from the shallow sandy beach and 100m from the first store. It is located 500m from the center.
This hotel has ten accommodation units - one duplex apartment, eight studios (16m2) and one room.
There are five studios for two persons and three studios are equipped with two single beds while the remaining two have one double bed. The two studios are for three people and consist of two single beds and one extra folding out bed. The hotel also has one four-bed studio located on the top floor with an amazing sea view and the mountain, and there is one double bed with another extra bed under it and there is a sofa for one person. There is also one room (17m2)in the offer that does not have a kitchen (but there is a fridge and electric kettle) and consists of a double bed. The lower floor rooms do not have a clear sea view due to the trees, while those upstairs have a very nice view of the bay.
The apartment (75m2) consists of two separate bedrooms and a dining room or living room. One bedroom has a double bed while the other has two connected single beds with no space between. In the living room there is a corner sofa bed for one person. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a stove, coffee maker, electric kettle and a large fridge. There are two air conditioners, one is in the living room and the other is in one of the bedrooms. The balcony of this unit has a fantastic sea view and the bay as well as the mountain. The bathroom has a cabin shower.
All accommodation units have air-conditioning and TV, bathroom, balcony, refrigerator, hairdryer and internet access. Smaller pets are allowed.
Cleaning is every day, towels are changed every two days and linen is changed every three days.
The accommodation has private parking for all guests.
When you reach the central intersection at Skala Potamia, descend to the sea and turn to the first street on the right. Continue straight and after a few meters you will come to the Hera hotel.

The bathroom, bedding, and generally the whole space was clean + fragrant. The hygiene is at a top level and that was important to me when choosing accommodation, that the bathroom is functional. We were won over by the view, the spaciousness and brightness of the room, the kitchen equipment delighted us because we could prepare food every day! Close to the beach and promenade, yet on a hill, far enough from the noise. The beds and pillows were comfortable for sleeping. The air conditioning works, everything is 5 stars! For a young couple, we got even more than we expected. We would recommend it to everyone, although we would like this corner of Skala Potamia to remain a little secret too ;) The hosts are wonderful, relaxed, cheerful, everything was easy to arrange.

The beds creak terribly. The third bed is not for an adult; it is an extra bed with a thin mattress. Very few dishes in the kitchen. A very small table on the terrace with two chairs, while the reservation was for three adults. In the studio next to us there was a baby that cried a lot, especially at night, and the walls are so thin that it was literally like it was in our room. I think you should inform guests that there will be babies/children up to 5 years old in the villa/hotel, and then we can decide whether we want to stay in such accommodation or not. So we know what we can expect. I am a mother of two children, now adults, and I know what that can be like, but I would like to have that information. And, yes, most importantly, there are no mosquito nets on the window, which was really unexpected.
