Skala Rachoni is a quiet place on northwest of the island, 13km from Limenas and less than 5km from Skala Prinos. Typical for a Thassos, this Skala has a lovely fishing dock, stone pier with a lighthouse and a promenade along the coast, with palm trees and wooden benches. There's a church of St. Parascheva, whose building was recently finished. The beach is long, sandy and with a lot of natural shade. Skala Rachoni has got a couple of restaurants, cafes, bakery-pastry shops, gas station and the biggest market on the island.
