Potos is a small town of about 1000 inhabitants. It is located in the south of the island. It is the most attractive and the most wanted tourist spot on the island. That's probably because in it you can find everything you need for a peaceful and decent summer, including a sandy beach. It is loved by families with children because it has all the amenities, beautiful beaches, it is not too big a place.

The main street is passing through the town, the main road. At a distance of 200-250m from this main road, parallel to it, there is a beach that is organized, mainly sandy with a gradual depth.
To the right of the road, facing the sea intertwines several streets, which are usually part of the promenade. In these streets (except the main) is located about everything that Potos offers. Here you will find a number of shops, fast-food restaurants, bakeries, meat markets, several jewelry shops, supermarkets and cafes.Bars and restaurants are concentrated mainly close to the beach. These few streets in Potos are always lively, full of people and children. Potos is well known because of the vibrancy of the streets and the promenade. Cafes and bars at the beach are connected to each other, always full, well designed and attractive and this is one of the reasons why young people tend to pick Potos as their destination.
To the left of the highway, towards Theologos, is a calm part of Potos, where private homes are interspersed by some accommodations. This part of the Potos is suitable for those who want to avoid the crowd in the city.
Potos has no bank or post office, but there are two ATMs and several mailboxes in the larger hotels that you can use. There is a sufficient number of payphones.
In Potos there are two internet cafes, a small park for the kids with a few toys, public parking with charge (3e / 24h) and one free public parking, diving club, a florist shop, a pharmacy, a few generally well-supplied supermarkets, 7-8 of clothing boutiques, 2-3 pizzerias, 3 bakeries, 3 rent-a-car and one rent-a-bike agency, 2 meat shops and two fish markets.
I hope from this you can get an idea of the size of the village, because it is a small and quiet place, with a lot of visitors, a decent beach and basic facilities for tourists. Everyone who comes in Potos, very quickly lives up to its actual place and the locals, perhaps because the place is small so after two days all the locals start to recognize you, and you begin to feel welcome, safe and free as you are at home among your friends. Because of this parents often send their younger children for gyros or bread, which, as they say, is rarely practiced at home.
One of the advantages of Potos is that it is located near some of the most beautiful beaches on the island (Psili Ammos 4km, Rosso Gremos 2km, Notos 2km, Pefkari 1km, San Antonio 1km). It's only a 5-minute drive from Limenaria, so the content of this bigger town is easily accessible to all tourists who are accommodated in Potos. From Potos, you can visit Metalia beach, gold factory Iris Gold, a traditional Theologos village, etc.

Cancellation and payment policy
Deposit of 30% of total price of the reservation is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance will be paid first day upon arrival. If a guest arrives after the arrival date of the reservation or if he leaves before the departure date of the reservation, property owner keeps the right to charge the total price of the reservation. If cancelled up to 21 days before the date of arrival, deposit will be refunded, less administrative fee which in most cases is 35€ but could be more (depending on bank). If cancelled later, or in case of no-show, deposit will not be refunded.
*If a refund of the deposit is possible, the shipping costs are borne by the guest. The amount of costs depends on the method of sending and the bank.Glossary of terms

Potrebna su nam u Potosu (Tasos) DVA studija (može i dupleks apartman -dve odvojene spavaće sobe) za 3 odrasle osobe (može i dva puta 2/2) na lokaciji između mora i glavnog puta

Postovana, Zamolila bih Vas da mi posaljete ponude za smestaj u Potosu i Golden Beachu, za petoclanu porodicu, deca imaju 6,11 i 13 godina. Pozeljno je da apartman ima 2 odvojene spavace sobe, po mogucstvu blizu plaze. Period 17.jul-30.jul. U slicnom periodu bismo mogli da se uklopimo sa terminima, broj noci 13. Kao prvo zelim da pohvalim Nikanu,godinama letujemo u Grckoj preko njih i uvek je sve bilo kako je i na sajtu,nikada nikakvih problema niti iznenadjenja. Letos smo bili u Potosu. Sve super,jedina nasa zamerka da nema na celoj plazi ni jedan tus. Ali i bez toga nam je bilo prelepo. I opet cemo preko Nikane u Grcku. Hvala vam do sada na svemu.

Postovana Ana, Molim vas za pomoc Suprug, sin(10godina) i ja letovali bi u Potosu 10 dana oko 20-21avgusta Potreban nam je trokrevetni studio apartman koji je blizu plaze (to nam je jako bitno)sa kuhinjom, tv ,klimom. Zanima me takodje kakva je situacija sa parkingom, i ako postoji varijanta vila sa bazenom(za tu varijantu su auprug i sin) Suma koju smo planirali da odvojimo za to je 500-600eura Ukoliko postoji neki smestaj molim vas za povratni info Hvala vam puno unapred Srdacan pozdrav, Paunovic Jelena
