Yesterday we returned from Skala Potamie. We spent seven nights at Villa Maria and we are absolutely delighted. Every other day, the linens and towels are changed, and the apartment is thoroughly cleaned. As for hygiene, I have no words; truly, hats off, we have not experienced such service even in highly rated hotels. In the kitchen, in addition to basic utensils, we had a sandwich toaster and a kettle. In the bathroom, a curtain could be placed around the bathtub, but it is not necessary; after a few showers, you get used to it. The location is in a quiet area, near an excellent bakery and supermarket. The yard is well-kept, and the parking provides shade for all cars under the olive trees. The owner is friendly and communicative. I recommend this accommodation to everyone! Best regards.

An excellent location, just five minutes from the beach and the town center, as well as a bakery. The apartment is comfortable, featuring two bedrooms, although the bathroom is quite small, as is the kitchen (where frying is not allowed). The yard is beautifully landscaped. Cleaning is done every three days. Everything is as described and shown in the pictures. We vacationed with two small children and we are truly satisfied. The relationship between price and quality is satisfactory, although for 50 euros per night, a better apartment could be found, particularly in terms of size.

Excellent accommodation

Indeed, a splendid summer, a beautiful island, beaches, and of course, accommodation. The hosts are exceptional, always kind and available. All praises for them. The accommodation is decent, quite satisfactory. We stayed there for seven nights, and they changed our linens twice, which is truly commendable. The beach is nearby, albeit accessible by a dirt path, but there are plenty of such paths on Thassos. All praises!

Polite, unobtrusive, and tidy, they change the linens and towels four times in ten days. They maintain the apartment daily. There is ample parking, and the environment is peaceful and quiet. However, the internet connection is somewhat poor, and the kitchen is not very well equipped.

We stayed at this accommodation, in a double apartment on the first floor, in July 2018. The comments left by other guests helped us decide where to stay, so we decided to share our opinion as well. The location is good, halfway between the beach and the main road, which means there is not too much engine noise, at least not to a great extent. The beach and shops are a five-minute walk away. The road to the house is unpaved and unlit at night, but I think that doesn't pose a significant problem. The accommodation is very pleasant; the house is not newly built, but it is well maintained. It is surrounded by a yard, completely green, with olive trees under whose shade you can park your car. The furniture is new, the bathroom renovated, everything is exceptionally clean, which the owners emphasize. They changed our towels and bed linens twice in ten days, as well as cleaned the apartment and took out the trash. A potential issue is that the kitchen is really poorly equipped, and cooking is prohibited, so it’s not suitable for those planning to prepare anything more than pasta. The host Dimitrios is very kind, but not intrusive, speaks excellent English, and will provide you with all the necessary information about the island. The internet is relatively weak, occasionally unavailable. There are mosquitoes, but this can be dealt with using a repellent device. All in all, it is not for those expecting anything beyond standard Greek accommodation, but in that range, it represents the best choice.

The accommodation is excellent in terms of location and comfort. Cleanliness is at the highest level, and the regular maintenance every three days is quite sufficient. The only drawback is that the kitchen is poorly equipped, or rather, it is almost not equipped at all. Additionally, cooking and frying are prohibited, which means that only coffee can be prepared.

We have just returned from Thassos, where we stayed in this apartment. Our impressions are as follows: they are very meticulous and kind, but a significant drawback is the mosquito net, which made it impossible to sleep even with a device. The sandy beach is a bit further away, and the city center is also somewhat distant, making it less suitable for families with small children; it is more appropriate for someone who doesn't mind walking.

We vacationed at Maria Apartments from July 16 to July 28, 2017. By chance, my girlfriend and I were accommodated in an apartment designed for three people, located on the first floor. The only drawback of this apartment is that it has only one wardrobe, which was insufficient for the two of us, and certainly inadequate for three. The apartment is beautifully decorated and features a reasonably spacious terrace. Cleaning and towel replacement were always done on time. The courtyard is very lovely, and the villa also has private parking, with trees above each parking spot, providing shade for the car. It is allowed to wash the car after a trip to, for example, Marble Beach. The host, Dimitrios, was exceptionally kind and accommodating, and he speaks excellent English, so there were no communication issues. The beach is a few hundred meters away by the shortest route. The biggest "problem" is that this path is not paved. During the day, this is not an issue, even when walking, but at night it may be daunting for those who are timid, as it is completely unlit for at least 200 meters. All in all, we were satisfied with the accommodation and would gladly return.

We stayed at the Maria Apartments in mid-July 2017. The apartments are exceptionally clean and tidy, with cleaning of the entire apartment and replacement of towels and bed linens occurring every three days. The location is somewhat distant from the beach, but it is very convenient, as it is neither on the promenade nor on the main road, but rather situated somewhere in between, providing protection from noise. The yard is beautifully arranged, well-maintained, and clean. The hosts are discreet, and if you need anything, they are there to assist you. The only downside is the absence of a hairdryer and the fact that the accommodation description does not mention that cooking fried food is prohibited (a notice is posted on a paper in the room). Overall, we are very satisfied with the accommodation!

Hello, at the end of July 2016, we stayed in Skala Potamia on Thassos, at the Maria Apartments. The location is outstanding, I believe it is the best on Thassos, and the accommodation is pleasant, spacious, with a beautiful view and very close to the town beach. Additionally, the connection via the main road to all the best beaches on Thassos is excellent. The only complaint regarding the hosts is that they did not change the bed linens and towels during the 10 days of our stay. I wanted to share this comment with you so that you can bring it to their attention and help them improve their service. As for the agency itself, we were extremely satisfied with their engagement and promptness.

Maria Apartments, a classic accommodation for Greece, receives a poor rating of 3 from me! Why?! First, it is 400 meters to the nearest access to the sea, and if you have children, you must drive every day to reach the sandy beach. The accommodation is just enough; I stayed in a four-bed apartment where one bed for two was acceptable, while the other bed was shameful, a sagging loveseat! There is no washing machine available, so if you arrive with children, you will be hand-washing clothes as if you were in the 17th century... Overall (3-)

The Marija Apartments come highly recommended. The location is convenient, just five minutes away from the beach and the center of Skala Potamije, situated in a quieter area so the sound of engines won’t disturb your sleep at three in the morning, unlike our friends who stayed in the center. The villa features a large yard and ample parking space. The double studio we stayed in on the top floor is small but clean and looks just like the pictures. Perhaps the apartments on the lower floors are slightly better for accommodation. The owners are pleasant, although only their son Dimitris speaks English, and they were accommodating in every way. We washed our car after visiting the marble beach in the yard, they provided us with homemade olive oil, and recommended some great food... Nice people. These apartments are not for those seeking luxury. They offer affordable prices and an excellent price-quality ratio.
