Today was a beautiful day for a walk. As I mentioned somewhere, a footpath between Pefkari and Limenaria was made, and I hope that it will be completed between Pekfari and Potos.

Every year after the Easter, an icon and a sacred wedge are carried from a small chapel in Theologos to the monastery of St. Archangel Michael.
The icon is carried over the mountain, some 20 kilometers away. Traditionally icon follows a large number of islanders.

During their vacation on Thasos, tourists visit the village of Kastro. I don't find that necessary since the only time village is full of life is during the winter. During the summer it resembles a nice weekend getaway on the top of the mountain and there is no reason to spend one of the 10 days you have on Kastro.

Since our old guests want to change the destination, but not us, we decided to offer them a few other holiday destinations. Our offer is expanding slowly and carefully, and only by personal visit to a destination and accommodation that we provide.
