The beach of Likithos is yet another piece of paradise on Earth for us. :-)
A brief overview of the beach:
- Location: accessed from Neos Marmaras through a pine forest and wild coves
- Beach: small, sandy on the shore, with fine gravel in the water
- Sea: crystal clear, shallow waters and gradual depth
- Facilities: Likithos hotel with a pool, sports courts, and tavern, a café on a hill with a sea view, beach shower
- Special feature: a peaceful and secluded beach without crowds even in August
How to get to the beach?
- Coming from Neos Marmaras, five kilometers after Porto Karasa, turn right at the signs for Areti Camping and hotel Saint George. Follow that road all the way to the sea, turn left, and after 2.5km you’ll reach an undeveloped beach and unfinished maisonettes where you turn right. After a few hundred meters, you’ll see the Likithos hotel.
- The road from the main road to the beach is a true delight as it leads through a pine forest along the coast full of hidden, wild coves that you can admire while driving.
- To reach Likithos beach, park your car in front of the Likithos hotel, which has direct access to the beach.
Passing through the courtyard of this hotel, you will be amazed by the hotel itself as it offers plenty of amenities for its guests. The hotel features a volleyball court, tennis court, basketball court, a small amphitheater, a fantastic pool with a sea view, a tavern, a café with a magnificent view, and of course, a fantastic small beach shaded in the afternoon. There are steps leading from the pool to the beach.
