The bathroom is cramped, the furniture is outdated, and the mattresses are exceedingly uncomfortable. The courtyard is cluttered with stained furniture. The only aspect that brings me satisfaction is that the rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are frequently changed. The price is overrated considering what is offered.

The accommodation is excellent, and in person, it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. The rooms are cleaned daily, and towels and bed linens are changed every three days; it is exceptionally clean. Nearby, there is a shop, bakery, and café, and a ten-minute walk from the accommodation leads to the pedestrian zone, the center, and the port. This is one of the more comfortable accommodations in Greece. The owner and staff are helpful and courteous.

The location is good, and the courtyard is very beautiful. The apartment is small, the mattress is hard, as are the pillows, and the kitchen is poorly equipped. Overall, it's acceptable, but it does not justify the price.

The villa is situated in an excellent location, close to the center, in a peaceful environment far from traffic. The garden is beautifully maintained, and there is a lovely pool. We were accommodated in a renovated studio; apart from the restroom, the double bed, and the beautiful terrace—which was one of the largest—nothing else appealed to us. We had a triple room, and our child slept on a sofa bed. The biggest drawback is the lack of household order, or perhaps the absence of proper etiquette among the guests. There was literally noise until 1 or 2 in the morning. The insulation is terrible, as if someone is sitting in our room and talking. The cleaner, when she starts cleaning, can be heard throughout. This has been the most expensive accommodation we've paid for, yet we received the least.

The villa is immaculate, towels are changed daily, and the rooms are cleaned every day. The bed linens are changed twice during the stay. It is located just 7 minutes from the center and 10 minutes from the beach. There is a lovely pool and a beautifully landscaped yard.

The accommodation is beautiful; the room was not large, but we had already gotten used to that in Greece. Cleaning, tidying up the room, and changing towels were done daily. Everything was tidy and pleasant; on that front, we have never had better service. The courtyard is more beautiful than in the pictures, and overall, our impression was that the accommodation was more attractive than in the photos. The pool was always clean. The owners are kind and unobtrusive. The overall impression is excellent.

Our experiences at this accommodation were excellent. We had a small studio with a beautiful terrace. It was always clean and tidied up every day. Towels and bed linens were changed twice during our seven-day stay. The kitchen was poorly equipped with cooking utensils, and frying was prohibited, although there was an extractor fan. We wanted to stay for one more day, and the landlady made adjustments in other arrangements to allow us to stay another night in our room. One morning we had breakfast there, and it was delightful. If you wish to have breakfast there, it is advisable to inform them in advance so they can prepare enough, as the number of guests for breakfast varies each day. The most beautiful aspect of Villa Edem is their garden or courtyard.

For the price, this is an excellent option: a solid building, well-maintained, situated in a beautiful location surrounded by greenery, with a river flowing just below. During our ten-day stay, we didn't turn on the air conditioning even once, despite having two in the apartment. The courtyard is very interesting, perfect for those who wish to see typical Greece without expecting any "fancy" amenities. The four-person apartment features two televisions, a spacious and cool terrace, although mosquitoes do come out in the evening. The pool is decent, the kids enjoyed it, there are sun loungers in the courtyard, and the café offers a great breakfast for €6, along with coffee or drinks. The friendly and very charming landlady is typically Balkan in her openness and pleasantness, yet not intrusive. The kitchen is poorly equipped! There is hardly anything besides one pot, one larger knife, a complete set of cutlery for four, glasses, and three plates. It seems they want to imply that cooking is not encouraged except for light meals, but there isn't even a ladle for soup. Perhaps this was the case only in our apartment.

Anyone who chooses this villa can be assured they will not make a mistake. We were delayed by one day because our two-year-old son fell ill. He contracted a virus, and it was uncertain whether we would even go. When we arrived and met the landlady Litsa, she first asked us if we wanted to extend our stay for another day or if she should reduce the price for that one day of delay. She immediately impressed us, as 99% of owners would have charged for that day of delay, and we were ready to pay, but she did not want to charge us. Litsa is an exceptional woman, very pleasant and sociable, and she speaks English well, which was extremely important to us. On one occasion, when neither she nor her husband were home, a heavy rain started, and I helped her move the sunshades from the loungers and the tables and chairs made of rattan to prevent them from getting wet. I think anyone would have done the same. In the morning, she came to us, thanked us, and brought us a pie with spinach and meat. We were pleasantly surprised. Besides the excellent pool located in front of our apartment, Villa Edem also has a lovely garden and a play area for small children. There are swings, slides, and various toys for kids. Litsa's husband even set up a trampoline for our son to play on. I truly have no words; the people think of everything. Next to the pool are plenty of loungers, most of which are free, as well as the pool itself, because there are many foreigners who barely use it. Therefore, after returning from the beach, we enjoyed the pool as well. There is also a small restaurant next to the pool where you can order breakfast. Every single day, after we returned from the beach, they changed our linens, thoroughly cleaned the apartment, and scrubbed the floors, and I mean every single day. Sometimes we leave a mess in the room because of the little one, and when we come back, everything shines, and even the toys are packed away. I find that fascinating. It may bore some to read so much, but this review will certainly mean a lot to couples with small children, which is why I am writing so extensively and in detail, so I apologize to those who do not like to read a lot. In our room, we had air conditioning and a safe, which were included in the price. I have vacationed all over Greece, and everywhere they charge extra for that, at least 10 euros a day, if not more. We had wi-fi that was incredibly good, throughout the villa, as we had 3 phones, a tablet, and a computer, and the internet worked flawlessly everywhere. It is very peaceful, as there are 19 apartments, everything is full, yet you hardly hear anyone, so it is excellent for a vacation. There are quite a few foreigners who leave in the morning, return in the evening, and you hardly hear or see them. In front of the villa, there is private parking, which meant a lot to us; we did not have to worry about any unpleasant issues. The city center is a 5-minute walk away, and Limenas is a beautiful town. At 1.5 km from the villa, you have the excellent Tarsanas beach, which is perfect for small children, and at 2.5 km, La Scala beach. You should not rush to Marble beach; we chose Limenas just to be as close to it as possible, as it is about 5 km away, and we tailored everything to it, but I have never experienced such disappointment in my life as with this beach... The road is terrible, going through a quarry, dust, huge potholes (anyone driving a lowered car should not even dare to start), filled with Romanians driving like idiots and being very bad drivers. The beach is completely commercialized, and worst of all, it has been destroyed by floods and rain. The water was a dirty green, murky, with algae and grass, completely uncleaned. A sunshade and two loungers cost 12 euros, which is too much for such a beach.

The environment is beautiful, it is peaceful and clean, and the pool is excellent. The hostess is very approachable (you need to know English). The kitchen is small and lacks some equipment, utensils, and plates, but these can be provided upon request. The internet is excellent, and there are markets and bakeries nearby. The center is just a 5-minute walk away. I highly recommend it.
