Agios Nikitas is a small but very popular place because it is in a good position to tour the west coast of Lefkada, for which Lefkada is famous.

From Nikitas there are bus lines to major places and beaches if you do not have your own transport.

Milos

is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lefkada and is located right next to Agios Nikitas. You can reach Milos beach by taxi boat departing from the city beach at a price of 6 € for a return ticket per person. Another option is to walk to the beach. It will take you 20-30 minutes, depending on your walking speed.

Pefkoulia

is one of the few sandy beaches on Lefkada and it is only 3km away from Agios Nikitas.

Faneromeni Monastery

with a beautiful view of the beach of Agios Ioannis in Lefkada is located 9km from Agios Nikitas and we recommend you to visit this shrine.

Kathisma

is only 3.5 km away from Agios Nikitas and the proximity of this beach is certainly one of the biggest reasons for the popularity of this small place. Kathisma is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lefkada, and is accessible by car, wide and long, beautifully decorated, so if you want to enjoy the milky blue sea of ​​Lefkada without hassle, hiking and stairs then Kathisma is the right choice for you.

Near Agios Nikitas is the place Kalamici with three bays at the foot: Kavalikefta, Megali Petra and Avala. All three are beautiful, with winding approaches, but no crowds.

Egremni, which can no longer be reached by land, is 40 km from Agios Nikitas and Porto Katsiki, about 35-40 km.
