The city beach in Neos Marmaras was a delightful surprise for us. It is very long with turquoise and very clean water.

Along the beach, there is a row of trees providing natural shade.
Most of the beach is available to visitors with their own equipment, while a part of it is arranged with numerous beach bars offering sunbeds and umbrellas that are included with a drink or food purchase, while in some bars, renting a set costs 10€.
There are various cafes with different options, so it is best to check the conditions before sitting down.
In any case, the beach is quite long, so there are no unbearable crowds even in August (although in August the water can sometimes be dirty).
Within the cafes, there are showers available for all visitors, as well as toilets, cabins, and everything can be found in one place. In the hinterland of the beach, there are also restaurants.
The beach connects with a private beach belonging to the hotel complex Porto Karas and together they form a unique entity several kilometers long.
