Very small, sandy beach with a long shallow and lots of natural shade.
It is ideal for children as it is in the shade of pine trees, and the first 30 meters depth of water is up to the knees.
In the back of the beach, there is a restaurant where sunbeds can be rented, and the price is €2 per piece. They don’t have umbrellas, because there is plenty of natural shade.
The beach is very interesting, completely tucked in the pine trees and can not be seen from the main road.
Where is the beach
Glyfoneri Beach is located 9km from Limenas on the west coast.
Driving from Limenas turn right at the sign for the hotel Louloudis, and after about 150m turn right again. Drive again for 500m more and exit is right on the beautiful beach. Follow the sign for the Glyfoneri tavern.
