Ai Giannakis (Agios Ioannis) is a small and nicely tucked cove, about 9km away from Parga. It is characteristic for its emerald green color because of the rich nature in the hinterland. Ai Giannakis is a true small paradise for the ones that like a little more isolated beaches. There is a canteen that offers food and drinks and some sitting sets in the shade on the beach.

The sea is beautiful, crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. The coast has gravel, as well as the bottom of the sea, so we recommend that you bring sea sandals.

The beach doesn’t have sunbeds and parasols, therefore you should bring your own equipment. There is a small parking space, but in high season we recommend that you come early. The beach has no shower.

The beach is located in a bay surrounded by high hills and it’s protected from the wind. On the hill above the beach is a small church dedicated to St. John, which the beach was named after. The path to the beach is tortuous but short and paved.
