One of the most attractive beaches on Sithonia, Karidi is truly an exotic pearl with its fantastic turquoise color of the water and fine white sand.
Since it is located at the very end of Vourvourou, it is easily reachable, and one more advantage is that you can leave a car somewhere in the shade because in the background of Karidi is the pine forest which adds to the overall impression.

This is also one of the beaches that is preferred by families because of its pleasant sand and a small shoal, which is great for small children.

Due to its perfect position, it is protected from the wind and so the sea is always calm and warm here. Considering all of this, you can surely expect that the beach will be overcrowded at the peak of a season, so be ready for the crowd in that period.

The beach is not organized so it is necessary for you to carry your own umbrellas or come a little earlier and occupy a good place in the natural shade. We certainly recommend visiting this beach early in the morning before it gets really crowded. There are no showers and cabins for changing, nor toilets.

If you get hungry, there is a mobile canteen with fast food and refreshing drinks. Also, there is a restaurant, near the parking, where you can sit and drink or eat something, and if you have need you can use the toilet there.

In case you crave for spending some time alone, turn left from the central cove and you will find a more peaceful little cove for you and your dear ones.
